**Job Description**:
Our client who is based within the higher education sector, have a temporary contract for a Programme Coordinator for approx. 3 months. This role will be based in Glasgow city Centre, and is 35 hours per week working, Monday to Friday. This role attracts an hourly rate of £16.27.
Working as part of an effective Programmes and Planning Team the role holder will manage the administrative elements programmes playing a significant role in the enhancement of programmes and the delivery of an excellent student experience.

**Duties**:

- Act as primary point of contact for students and staff- Responsible for the creation and timely and accurate maintenance of relevant student records- Work with the Programme Team(s) to ensure that module choice and registration data are accurate and maintained in student records.- Responsible for the co-ordination of the assessment process for designated programmes and assisting in the provision of exam papers and completion of alternative exam process requirements.- Acting as clerk to the Assessment Board(s) ensure that all necessary arrangements are in place for designated Assessment Boards. Responsible to produce accurate assessment board reports, recording decisions and discussions on individual students. Produce timely, accurate minutes following board meetings and liaise with the Chair and process necessary Chairs' Actions. Follow up to include publication of results and production of transcripts.- Analyse data from systems for the preparation of MI, statistical returns and audit materials on programme, annual programme analysis, and student related issues (e.g., progression, retention, attrition, completions).- Effectively use systems, including Virtual Learning Environment to support effective administration of Programmes and an excellent student experience.- Support the work of other Programmes Coordinators, including sharing work during periods of peak workload and staff absence to ensure that full support is available and undertake any tasks required for the efficient administration of programmes across the Directorate.**Person Specification**
- Excellent customer service skills- Excellent organisational skills, ability to maintain clear and accurate records and collate, organise, and interpret data and produce reports- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work on own initiative- Experience of clerking meetings- Skilled user of standard MS Office packages, in particular - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
