This senior role will provide leadership and direction to Financial Accounting, Capital and Charitable Funds. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance, the role is responsible for the efficient management of these services for the Trust and related organisations. The post holder will take responsibility to produce the Foundation Trust Annual Accounts, including the wholly owned community interest company Flourish. This includes ensuring that the financial governance arrangements are in place to meet the required accounting standards for the two organisations, whilst providing the evidence to satisfy Auditors & Audit Committee requirements. The role will be responsible for ensuring that the capital, balance sheet and cash elements of the monthly monitoring & Board reports are produced in an accurate and timely manner in order that the Trust meets the targets set by NHSE. This senior role will be responsible for the Trust’s treasury management arrangements, ensuring that the Trust maximises the benefits of the available cash and maintains required level of liquidity. Where required, be responsible for organising loans & other external finance. The role will lead the planning and financial management of the Trust Capital programme reporting to the Capital Investment Group, Finance, Performance and Information Committee, Audit Committee and the Board. The post holder will act as the Fund Manager to the Trust Charity, ensuring the production of the accounts, audit completion.
