JSP, Europe’s leading manufacturer of Personal Protective Equipment are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Stock Control Apprentice to join a busy team at our Head Office in Worsham Mill, Witney.

The Stock Control Apprentice (SCA) will be encouraged to learn all areas of the Supply Chain function, including Product Configuration, Purchasing, Inventory and Materials Management.

On a more regular basis the SCA will ensure consistent and accurate product code and Bill of Material creation. They will gather information of all products so that this information can be used when helping co-workers in their questions regarding products.

**Responsibilities**
- Understand and create product codes
- Create Bills of Materials including labour timings
- Create new product / case labels using the software provided
- Understand and create EAN barcodes
- Solving problems with Works Orders
- Solving transaction problems with Warehouse / Quality Management issues
- Maintaining Patents
- Understand all aspects of product codes and general maintenance of these including updating information / obsoleting / making active etc.
- Acquiring good general knowledge of raw materials, bought in finished products and manufactured products
- Becoming involved in all areas of the Supply Chain function - including Purchasing, Logistics, Inventory and Materials Management.
- Any other general office duties as required

**Skills & Competencies**
- Be computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Strong mathematical skills (A Level Maths would be desirable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work accurately and with an eye for detail
- Absorb training and instructions in order to work independently
- Be a team player
- Be proactive
- Have a pleasant and friendly style
