**Job Title**: Mobile Grounds Maintenance Supervisor

**Location**: Basildon / Canvey / Benfleet

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Responsibilities**:
**Supervision and Team Management**:Lead and supervise a team of grounds maintenance workers.
Coordinate daily tasks, assignments, and schedules for the mobile maintenance team.
Provide guidance and training to team members as needed.

**Grounds Maintenance Operations**:Conduct regular inspections of outdoor spaces to identify maintenance needs.
Operate and oversee the use of various grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, strimmers, hedgecutters, and chainsaws.
Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and in good working condition.
Perform hands-on grounds maintenance tasks as required.

**Quality Assurance**:Monitor and maintain high standards of grounds maintenance to meet company and client expectations.
Conduct quality checks on completed tasks to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
Implement corrective actions and improvements as needed.

**Health and Safety Compliance**:Enforce and adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for the maintenance team.
Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly.

**Client Interaction**:Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific grounds maintenance requirements.
Address client concerns or requests in a timely and professional manner.
Build and maintain positive client relationships.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in grounds maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in operating grounds maintenance equipment, including mowers, strimmers, hedgecutters, and chainsaws.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role preferred.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to grounds maintenance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
