What is the role?
This role will produce high-end creative and design layouts, and final artwork for repro materials such as ads, literature, corporate brochures, web banners & digital content, posters and commercial presentations that have a high visual impact. As part of the club creative team, the designer will create and amend artwork for various marketing communications campaigns in accordance with SFC brand guidelines.
You’ll be working closely with the rest of the creative team to produce content that is on brand, on time and supports the needs of the commercial department and football media team. Thinking creatively, you’ll contribute new ideas and concepts to our brainstorming sessions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Being responsible for artwork and adapting existing creative work across print and digital channels, ensuring a high standard of output at all times.
- Responding to briefs with creative concepts and design ideas that support the commercial objectives of the club.
- Photoshop imagery for content & campaigns across channels such as social, in-store, website & video.
- Designing presentations and printed materials in line with brand guidelines.
- Designing branded spaces and experiences for our players, staff and fans.
- Preparing files for print.
- Working with internal departments, listening and understanding their needs before making design decisions.
What are we looking for?
If you have exceptional attention to detail, with good organisational skills, and can hit the ground running in a design environment, you could be the person we’re looking for.
Essential Experience:
- At least 5 years design experience in creative industry either client or agency side
- A genuine passion and experience of high-end design
Essential Qualifications (including certifications):
- Degree in design or similar or equivalent experience
Essential Skills:
- Adobe Creative Cloud for Mac (incl. Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
- PowerPoint, Keynote, HTML and Flash exposure.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment.
- An understanding and ability to maintain confidentiality with all work-related matters.
- Excellent communication skills within both internal and external stakeholders.
- Personable; with an ability to build relationships easily.
