**School Nurse**

The Successful School Nurse Will be responsible for:

- Providing First Aid and Emergency Care as Necessary
- Assisting with Medical Needs of Pupils
- Managing Immunisations programmes
- Working with Staff to ensure best practice in relation to Hygiene across the school.
- Maintaining Stock levels for first aid kits and Medical Supplies across the site

Health Education will also be a large part of the School Nurse role including:

- Promoting Health Education and Healthy Lifestyles
- Distributing materials on Issues Relating to Student Health.
- Leading first aid courses where appropriate
