**Job description**

Samlesbury Hall is a well-established historic manor house and hospitality venue. We host an average of 100 weddings a year in our stunning 14th century Hall and our beautiful Garden Room Eatery, in addition to providing professional spaces for conferences and a variety of other functions. We are looking for enthusiastic Front of House Staff to join our fantastic team serving at our Weddings & Functions.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Serve drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve customers food in a professional manner
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and other FOH areas
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor and ensure compliance with alcohol serving guidelines and laws
- Assist in stocking the bar with supplies and inventory management

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Excellent hospitality skills to provide a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Bartending experience is a plus, but not required

Due to the rural location of Samlesbury Hall, you must hold a valid UK driving license and have access to your own vehicle.
