**Partner with the best**
You will support the Procurement Lead executing Procurement Priorities in line with business goals and initiatives controlling the whole supply cycle (request for quote, negotiation, PO placement and order fulfilment).
As a Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Negotiating best cost & delivery, with suppliers; place and follow up on PO’s for assigned commodities.
- Managing effective working relationships with suppliers for PO execution.
- Managing problems and schedule changes to ensure on time delivery.
- Updating ERP to ensure accurate planning.
- Developing new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting.
- Balancing both tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost and lead time reduction.
- Working together with high level individuals within the business.
- Working with Commodity Buyers on technical and commercial developments to develop awareness of manufacturing processes and improve product knowledge.
- Actively participating in supplier performance reviews.
- Contributing to project as a team member or leads small projects.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have significant experience as a Commodity Buyer, within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
- Have a demonstrable technical mindset and approach with attention to detail.
- Have good oral and written communication skills.
- Have the ability to work independently, motivate and influence others.
- Be able to cope with multiple complex situations daily.
- Be a persuasive negotiator.
