**Experience is not necessary to work for Brothers of Charity. We provide full training and a fully funded NVQ in Health & Social care.**
As a Support Worker you will be providing support to each person tenant in line with a Care Plan and the individual’s person centre support plan. You will help people live as tenants and citizens in the local community.
The Brothers of Charity Services is a non-profit organisation that provides a wide range of compassionate, person-centred care services to people with learning disabilities. Our Ethos, Vision and Values guide us in our mission to provide outstanding care, support and opportunities to provide dignified and respectful personalised support for people with learning disabilities and vulnerable adults.
Whether you are looking for a new career or have previously worked in social care, you will receive full training with qualifications in Health & Social Care funded by us with future career prospects and development into management roles.
- A positive attitude to people with a disability
- Good verbal communication skills and ability to listen sensitively to others
- The ability to support people to make informed choices about their daily lives
- Good reading and writing skills, with an ability to keep accurate and detailed records.
