We are looking for a driven and motivated Talent Acquisition Partner to join our professional and supportive New Talent team on a temporary basis for 6 months in Warwick.
As a Talent Acquisition Partner within the New Talent team, you get to be a key part of helping National Grid find critical early talent and to help us continue on our key mission to bring energy to life. You'll play an integral role in recruiting our annual intake of Graduates, Undergraduates, Interns, and Higher & Advanced Apprenticeships.
Be strategic and tactical
- Manage high volume full-cycle recruitment for New Talent Programmes
- Become deeply embedded with your business areas, understand what their business does and the types of people they need to hire to succeed. Go above and beyond as a partner to be a part of understanding at a deep level of what they do and how they do it
- Host Assessment Centres, including the organising, pre-planning, scheduling and running assessment centres, which may begin/end outside of standard working hours
- Willingness to help evaluate processes that need revamping
- Completing other duties and projects as assigned within the given deadlines
Use analytical tools for hiring and branding
- Use tools and skills to reinforce National Grid as an employer of choice
- Ensure brand standards are understood, maintained and consistently executed in all external communication
- Understanding of ATS and ways they can perform and ideas on how to maximize their use
- Stay up to date with current recruiting methods and best practices
- Attend regional job fairs and careers events
Communicate effectively
- Consulting/partnering with the business to discover staff needs, requirements and specific job objectives
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders

**About you**:
You will have good experience in leading and motivating stakeholders, using your excellent oral & written communication skills, whilst having:
- a consultative, customer-focused, analytical, and innovative approach
- strategic thinking and able to act tactically to share and implement a vision
- technology-oriented and people-focused approach
- ability to leverage data and analytics
You are able to deal with ambiguity and are excited by creating order and driving organisation and clarity.
You have a genuine healthy desire to be curious, both in the job but as part of your nature and have a desire to make a difference.
Ideally, you have some experience in recruiting, preferably for Graduate and/or Apprentice positions.

- A competitive salary between £33,000 - £37,575 per annum - dependent on capability
- A bonus based on personal and company performance

The role is based in Warwick with the flexibility to work in the office 2-3 days per week.
