**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Conduct engaging martial arts classes for various age groups and skill levels, ensuring that each session is tailored to meet the needs of participants.
- Educate students on martial arts techniques, principles, and philosophies while emphasising the importance of respect, discipline, and perseverance.
- Develop lesson plans that incorporate warm-ups, drills, sparring sessions, and cool-down exercises to enhance students' skills and fitness levels.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their techniques and achieve their goals.
- Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety protocols and ensuring proper use of equipment.
- Organise and participate in events such as competitions, demonstrations, and seminars to promote the martial arts programme within the community.
- Foster positive relationships with students and their families to encourage retention and growth of the programme.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in martial arts with relevant qualifications or certifications.
- Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate students effectively.
- A passion for martial arts and a commitment to promoting physical fitness and personal development.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- First Aid certification is an advantage but not mandatory; training can be provided.
