As their organisation continues to grow, they are now seeking a senior leader in IT Systems to help drive the development of our client.

This is the ideal role for someone who has the experience and capabilities in strategic thinking but also an in-depth knowledge of the latest developments in all aspects of IT systems technology. You will be innovative in your approach, looking for waysto simplify, rationalise and continually improve service delivery.

Our client is a fast moving, exciting Group with activities which include the UK's future green energy infrastructure, utilities, and civil engineering. A senior position, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer you will have focus on:
Strategy: A key player in strategic decision-making, IT Systems project implementation and the adoption of new processes and procedures.

Stakeholder Management: Excellent relationship management skills across a range of stakeholders at varying levels both internal and external.

Leadership: Leading the Systems Team to embrace innovation, continuous improvement, technology developments, changes in systems security and best practice in project delivery.

Procurement: Strong negotiation skills with experience in running supplier bid and selection processes.

Deployment and Support: The ability to manage multiple Systems projects and BAU activities concurrently.

**Head of IT Systems Requirements**:
You will have a proven background at a senior level of IT Systems leadership, with experience in the development and successful delivery of large IT systems projects. You will also have:

- Technical and operational experience within an organisation of similar size / complexity.
- Stakeholder engagement experience at Board level, with the gravitas to drive and implement change and improvement programmes.
- Excellent communications skills are, therefore, paramount.
- Commercial awareness and budget management skills.
- A pro-active approach to simplification and continuous improvement.
- Experience with project implementation - delivering on time and within agreed budgets.
- People leadership experience, bringing a team together to drive delivery.
