**Job Purpose / Overview**
In this role, you'll work within a team to carry out vital administrative tasks essential for the smooth operation of the Vacform area, collaboratively closely with the Utilities Supervisor.
**Responsibilities**:
- Stay informed about EH&S matters such as COSHH & Risk assessments.
- Adhere strictly to established working practices and procedures.
- Monitor and maintain quality standards.
- Stay updated on day-to-day operations.
- Comprehend machine loading plans and targets.
- Demonstrate understanding of relevant documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs and records.
- Ensure cleanliness of the area and promote 5S + 1 practices.
- Meet all customer targets effectively.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Utilities Supervisor.
**Further responsibilities**:
- Keeping logs meticulously up to date.
- Ordering consumables and necessary parts for the area.
- Maintaining production plans to ensure alignment with customer demands and shipping deadlines.
- Participating in weekly meetings with planning teams to review plans and workload.
- Remaining informed about variances in SAP.
- Effectively communicating and updating relevant departments on current operational statuses.
**Key requirements**:
- Flexibility is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and telephone skills.
**Qualifications/Experience**:
We are looking for individuals who possess:
- Previous experience preferred, but not essential.
- Familiarity with the SAP system is advantageous, though not mandatory.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00 per year
