As an Event Safety Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all event attendees, staff, and performers at events across the south west;.

you will be responsible for monitoring the event environment, assisting with crowd management, and responding to any emergencies or incidents that may arise.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Safety Monitoring**: Regularly patrol the event venue to identify and address potential safety hazards.
- **Crowd Management**: Assist in managing crowds to ensure smooth flow and prevent overcrowding in specific areas.
- **Emergency Response**: Be prepared to respond to emergencies, providing first aid assistance and coordinating with emergency services as needed.
- **Communication**: Serve as a point of contact for attendees, providing information and addressing concerns or complaints.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with event staff, security personnel, and other stewards to ensure a cohesive safety strategy.
- **Policy Enforcement**: Enforce event policies and guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
- **Training Participation**: Attend pre-event safety briefings and training sessions to stay informed about procedures and protocols.

Applicants must be:
1. Over 18

2. Have a good command of the English Language both written and verbal

3. Be able to provide
- photographic proof of ID
- proof of right to work within the UK
- recent and relevant proofs of address

4. Able to provide a 5 year minimum checkable history

5. Willing to work as part of a growing team

Good rates of pay, with the opportunity for enhancement and further qualifications in the future.

Payments are made through Simply PAYE which is a PAYE based sole-trader scheme which allows for the freedom of being self-employed with out the hassle of the paperwork.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.85-£14.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekend availability
