**Teaching Assistant - Wirral Area - Vara Sports and Education**

**Key Details**
- **Location**: Wirral area
- **Hours**: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
- **Contract Options**:

- **Term-time only (school holidays off)** - 12-month salary with optional paid overtime at our holiday camps
- **52-week contract** - higher salary including additional work at our holiday camps
- **Pay**: Competitive, dependent on age and experience

**Responsibilities**
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Work with small groups or individual children to support learning
- Ensure all children are engaged, safe, and supported effectively
- Assist with children’s social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Promote inclusion for children with SEND

**Skills and Requirements**
- Strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships
- Team player: reliable, flexible, and committed
- Highly organised with good time management
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (desirable)
- Experience working with SEND children (highly desirable)
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
