We have a current opportunity for a Area Account Manager on a permanent basis. The position will be based in the East Midlands United Kingdom. For further information about this position please apply.
Our client is a leading logistics company who are looking to recruit an Area Account Manager to be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts ranging from £50k-£5m p.a. each in turnover. You will drive collaborative relationships, profitability,service excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Drive excellent financial performance from customers
- Deliver customer satisfaction, as measured by surveys and direct feedback
- Take ownership of the customer contract
**PERFORMANCE INDICATORS**
- Customer revenue
- Customer profitability
- Customer contract status
- Customer debt
- Specific customer projects
**Knowledge / Skills**
- Experience in a similar role (B2B, complex industry)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels
- Fully literate in Powerpoint, Word and particularly Excel
- An ability to balance customer vs business needs to reach a win-win solution to challenges.
