The **Ecommerce & Marketplace Executive** is a newly created role based at our head office in Wythenshawe that will report into the Head of Ecommerce, as well as work closely with other internal and external stakeholders. You will be pivotal in the planning and execution of the trading strategy to drive the growth of our brands and products across our D2C websites and marketplaces.

**Key responsibilities**
- D2C ecommerce growth_
You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of our D2C ecommerce operations, constantly looking to improve the customer experience and contribute to the growth and success of our brands.
- Maintaining and updating our D2C websites, ensuring a seamless user experience and addressing any technical issues as they arise.
- Creating and executing merchandising strategies to ensure key products are featured in line with brand and local market requirements.
- Maintaining and updating product catalogues, including all product imagery and attributes, pricing, filters, promotional activity and copy.
- Analyse pricing strategies and competitor pricing to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Collaborating with marketing colleagues and external agency partners to create and execute campaigns and promotional activities that drive traffic and sales.
- Working closely with our SEO agency partner to implement best-practice approaches and improve organic search performance.
- Conducting daily website audits to ensure that sites are optimised and performing to their full potential.
- Monitoring and reporting on key ecommerce metrics, using insights to drive continuous improvement and inform future strategies.
- Playing an active role in CRO, suggesting ideas to improve customer experience and running specific onsite testing strategies to improve product conversion.
- Working closely with website developers to deliver a best-in-class online shopping experience for our customers.
- Supporting inventory management, liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure stock availability and accurate forecasting.
- Responding to customer service enquiries within agreed SLAs, resolving them efficiently and effectively.
- Marketplace optimisation_
You will lead the day to day running of all marketplace activity to drive revenue growth and increase profitability of this key channel, as well as manage all related administration.
- Maintaining and updating product data to ensure optimisation of all marketplace catalogues.
- Owning trading activities across a range of domestic and international consumer and wholesale marketplaces.
- Managing a continuous programme of product information uploads, content creation and SEO across all marketplace accounts.
- Monitoring core marketplace KPIs including data quality and fulfilment SLAs and escalate and resolve performance issues with the support of the Head of Ecommerce.
- Providing timely reporting and analysis to allow appropriate action to be taken to boost revenue and profitability.
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with marketplace partners and Account Managers to optimise performance.
- Leading launches onto new marketplaces and proactively identifying additional opportunities.
- Continuously researching and improving the management of our marketplace operations.
**What you’ll need to succeed**
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in ecommerce and marketplace management, preferably in the fashion/retail sector.
- Strong analytical skills to analyse data and identify trends with a good knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with partners, third parties and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Highly organised and flexible with a calm and positive attitude.
- In-depth experience of ecommerce platforms (ideally Shopify) and marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, Zalando, Walmart, Faire, etc.).
- Proficiency in using analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to inform decision-making.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tactics to drive traffic and sales.
- Willingness to accept new responsibilities as the business grows.
- Excited by the generation of new sales and exceeding targets, and a passion for ecommerce, marketplaces, digital marketing and fashion.
