We currently support 2 ladies with learning disabilities in a supported living service in Bedlington - each have their own bungalow.

We also provide enabling support (25 hours per week) for 1 lady who lives in Ashington.

We are looking to grow our team of dedicated, caring, enthusiastic and friendly support worker to work with all 3 ladies.

Being a relief support worker isn’t just about making day to day life it’s about having fun Each of these ladies have their own different hobbies. One lady loves to collect items and enjoys annual holidays to Spain. One lady loves to go out on a daily basis, shopping, dining and attending music lessons. One lady loves shopping, visiting charity shops and socialising.

**What does a Relief Support Worker do?**

As a Relief Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life.
- Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day and assisting with bathing, showering and using the bathroom.
- Supporting people to live independently - budget management, paying bills, housework, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
- Excellent communication skills/relationship building - supporting the person to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
- Community & Social Inclusion
- Supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and Social events to promote life skills and individuality.
