**To support the business’ continued growth, reporting directly in to the Finance Director you will play a key role in the finance function both here in the UK and abroad, with some foreign travel involved.**
**With continual investment into their staff through professional study support; bespoke training and a guarantee that the majority of all vacancies are filled from within your finance career will also follow a similar trajectory.**
**Key Duties**:

- Understand the operational KPI’s and help drive the business’ performance through accurate and relevant business analysis.
- Produce monthly gross margin analysis to drive performance across all operational aspects of the business.
- Regular meetings with key stakeholders to determine the additional financial analysis requirements
- Develop Profit improvement plans alongside the Finance Director to target areas of improvement and growth.
- Partner with other departments, such as Marketing or Product Development to provide useful insight into their performance and enhance their support for the business.
- Assist with group annual budget process.
- Calculate and explain causes of labour, machine and raw material variances.
- Calculate stock obsolescence and identify ways to improve stock turns and reduce write off.
- Review the product costing within the financial system and ensure they are up to date and accurate.
- Implement the group’s policies and procedures in all subsidiaries.
- Assist with month end consolidation routines as and when required.
- Assist with year-end audit and month end close.
- Ad hoc projects as required.

**What We Are Looking For**:

- A fully qualified accountant - CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- Previous work history in a finance business partner or in a similar role
- Management accounts experience
- An excellent team player with the ability to build successful relationships at all levels
- Innovative thinker
- IT / Tech confidence
- Driven, positive, ambitious character
