Landscaping Assistant

**What’s the role about?**

The purpose of this role is to drive sales, customer service and profit at the Landscape Department. To highlight the Landscaping department and its position within the wider JLP horticulture business providing profitable support and solutions to horticulture projects where possible.

You will have the opportunity to develop and stretch personally and professionally to achieve your potential.

**What you’ll be doing as a Landscape Assistant**
- Support Landscape operations
- Working with the Nursery and Landscaping team
- Compliance with procedures and standards
- Customer Service
- Personal development of self through relevant training.
- Stock, inventory and waste management
- Maintaining standards of planting
- Health and safety management of Landscape sites, nursery car park, access roads and access paths
- prepare the ground or interior space
- Turf and seed lawns
- Plant and prune trees and shrubs
- Put in new plants
- Shows and competitions as appropriate

**What you’ll have**
- Full Clean Driving licence
- Landscape experience
- To be thorough and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast paced situations and adhere to deadlines
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to work well with your hands
- Strong Customer service skills
- To be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device
- Knowledge/interest in plants & horticulture
