An industry leading engineering and construction business are looking to appoint a Financial Reporting Manager. This role will report to the Group Chief Accountant and will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the year end accounts and monthly management accounts. The teams' key deliverables include: - Preparation and review of the Group financial accounts - Review of the UK statutory accounts - Preparation of technical accounting papers to support the year end audit process - Review of the European & Group monthly consolidated P&L, BS and Cashflow Statements - Taking a key role in aligning the management and statutory reporting - Supporting the testing of the control environment - Supporting the covenant and other external stakeholder reporting - Supporting other ad hoc report preparation and tasks as required In order succeed within this role - ACA qualified with at least 2 years PQE - A strong team ethic and a desire to share knowledge with the team - Confident and ambitious with a "can do" attitude - Capable of challenging existing ways of thinking through use of structured and intelligent reasoning - Strong communication and judgement skills; including strong report writing and presentation skills - Committed, energetic, enthusiastic, resilient and collaborative - Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships & influence decisions
