RMK Talent Solutions is excited to be working with a global pharmaceutical and health provider as they are seeking a proactive, career driven **Senior Financial Accountant**to manage the finances, including the reporting objectives of their Dartford operations. In addition, you will work with colleagues across other sites to help achieve business objectives and reporting.
The main purpose of this role is to manage the control, compliance and reporting objectives of the Kent location; provide business partnering support to key management on wide ranging projects; and to manage and lead the controllership side of the finance teamincluding shared services support.
Main responsibilities:

- Manage the balance sheets of two UK companies, c.$17M turnover group
- Cash flow and working capital management
- Ensure accurate headcount tracking and forecasting with HR and senior leadership team
- Oversee the site expense processing for the UK - working with the Swindon site
- Preparation of VAT returns and Corporation tax compliance submissions
- Manage the annual insurance renewal program for the Dartford site
- Compliance monitoring oversight including: Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Corporate Governance.
- To support the development and implementation of enhanced financial policies and procedures
- Business partner with the senior leadership team to improve control and understanding of cost drivers; identifying opportunities and realising targeted efficiencies
- Assist with the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting process of base costs, working with senior leadership team and presenting to VP level
- Identify and implement financial controls as identified over processes and system

About you:

- Demonstrable statutory reporting experience
- Familiarity with impending UK GAAP changes; sufficient to oversee required changes
- Reporting under US GAAP an advantage or other overseas parent
- Knowledge of Oracle and/or Hyperion (HFM) is an advantage
- Demonstration of strong communication skills at all levels. The role will require regular contact with finance personal internal and external to the site as well as non-finance personal

- Keen to take own initiative
