To look at the impact of work through case studies and distance travelled.

Up to 3 x evening and occasional weekend sessions required

**About the role**
Pay Details: £24,228 pro rata, JNC Pt12

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 25 hours to include a regular 2 - 3 evenings a week, after school clubs, trips, events, occasional weekends and residentials.

Main Place of Work: Various locations across the Vale of Glamorgan

**Description**:
We are a needs led service offering a varied and flexible youth offer to the young people of the Vale of Glamorgan through regular consultation.

Delivering an open access, varied youth offer to the young people across various locations of the Vale of Glamorgan.

The sessions can take place in various settings such as, after school clubs, pop up youth clubs, youth centres, detached/outreach/mobile youth work, residentials, trips and events.

The work will focus on offering young people the opportunity to enhance their informal learning in topic based sessions, increase positive social interaction, gain accredited opportunities such as Agored Cymru Units and DofE qualifications and increase young person participation in all aspects of youth work.

**About you**
We are looking for somebody with the opportunity to register with the Education Workforce council as a qualified youth support worker/youth worker.
This person needs to be enthusiastic, motivated and flexible with an understanding of young people and their needs.
We need somebody who is able to deliver a needs led service.
Somebody able to consult, plan, deliver and evaluate youth work activities/projects.
