The post holder will form part of the senior leadership team supporting the Associate Director of Operations and Associate Medical Director. Theywill be responsibility for monitoring and improving the quality of care, safe staffing and CQC compliance.
They will play a key role in ensuring that quality improvement and redesign projects are developed focussed on improving the quality and safety ofpatient care, patient or staff experience.
The post holders must have high emotional intelligence, excellent clinical skills, interpersonal and communication skills and have experience ofworking at a high clinical standard. Along with the ability to motivate, influence and inspire the workforce.
This role would suit an experienced registered nurse who has a significant amount of experience leading clinical staff to deliver and developpatient services with a focus on quality improvement.

The post holder will be expected to maintain and enhance standards of patient care, patient experience and clinical outcomes through the implementation of continuous quality improvement initiatives.
The post holder will be required to deputise for the Deputy Chief Nursing Officer or occasionally the Chief Nursing Officer in relation to organisational and professional issues, and take part in the Senior Manager on Call Rota.
The post holder will provide leadership to the clinical teams, and Specialist Nurses within the Division and work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams across the Division and the Trust.

Act in accordance with current local Warwickshire and Trust Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Children’s policies
Work with the Associate Directors of Operations (ADOs), Associate Medical Directors (AMDs) and other key managers in the division in delivering service development, business planning and service delivery ensuring achievements in key local and national targets.

**MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP**:
Lead on the implementation of the quality agenda, focussing on continuous quality improvement, escalating concerns to the Divisional team and/or taking action to mitigate risk and improve quality of care when needed, making recommendations regarding resources required within the division.
Support the Chief Nursing Officer with complex clinical issues relating to nurses and quality issues both in the division and the Trust as required
Lead on Quality, safety or patient experience projects as delegated by the Chief Nursing Officer.
Lead on the improvements in the care of autistic people and those with a learning disability in collaboration with the safeguarding and learning disability leads.
Support workforce redesign in line with service needs and changing roles in healthcare and support the implementation of recruitment, retention and effective rostering across the division.
Provide professional supervision to Clinical Nurse Specialist teams and services.
Lead on the evaluation of skill mix and establishments utilising skill mix evaluation tools in the division.
Working with other Heads of Nursing and other senior nurses to ensure there is a robust framework for clinical supervision across the trust.
**COMMUNICATION**:
Liaise with all relevant stakeholders including clinical managers, operational teams, medical and AHP teams, social care and other partner agencies, patient groups, CCG, CQC and senior leadership team.
