Our client is a **well-established freight forwarder** who is now looking for a **Sea Freight Imports Specialist** You will join a team of 6 staff in the UK and a back office of 23 people.
Providing a one stop solution for their customer's logistics requirements with an excellent one to one personal service. They endeavour to support their customer's growing logistics requirements with the best technical and software solutions and in the mosteco-friendly way. With the expertise and support of their staff, they are capable of finding solutions to their customers ever-changing logistics requirements.
Duties include:
1. Dealing with overseas agents and shipping lines
2. Dealing with customers and HMRC.
3. Handling shipment quotes; negotiating and billing
4. Customer service.
5. Day to day sea freight operations.
**Person spec**:
**You will have a sea freight import forwarding background with good communication skills. With the ability to work on your own and within a tight knit team**
**Salary dependant on experience**
