As the **Electromechanical Design Engineer** you will be working for a new created business division, responsible for both the generation of system level schematics / diagrams and the mechanical design of complex Microwave frequency-based switchingsystems. The role requires a hands-on approach, ensuring the highest quality of build achieved on time every time.
- Work closely with the RnD department, completing detailed 3D CAD models & assemblies using Solidworks
- Create System level diagrams using Altium
- Assist on development projects from concept through to completion
- Maintaining the Product Documentation Library (PDM) by adding, improving, and correcting project data
- Design and create 3D models for use across the business.
- Work with other in-house designers to develop new and exciting products
- Travel to both customers and our other factories to fully understand the customer requirements and our manufacturing capability
- Assist in the generation of build instructions to allow new products to be fully productions
- Assist Manufacturing in building new systems

To be successful in this role of **Electromechanical Design Engineer** we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

- A relevant Degree
- Experience working in Solidworks (or similar)
- Experience of using PCB design tool Altium
- Team based projects with individual progress and responsibilities
- Adaptable, approachable and flexible
