The investor/manager is a group which historically has invested predominantly in hospitality and real estate on a global level. The group has grown to become one of the largest privately-held hospitality organizations in the world with interests in over500 hotels across three continents. This company has recently expanded its alternative investments. These investments include industrial, manufacturing, and hospitality investments focusing mainly on emerging markets.

**The Role**:
**New Investment Analysis**
- Evaluating new investment targets
- Evaluating capex and expansion proposals in respect of existing investments
- Debt restructuring and refinancing

**Project Development**
- General country/market research
- Oversight and implementation of new projects/investments including:Acquisition of real estate, overseeing project funding, managing project budgets and hiring of local resources

**Investment/Asset Management**
- Overseeing the financial aspects of the existing businesses including:

- Reviewing profitability against shareholder targets
- Ensuring that monthly / annual reporting is done on time and accurately
- Analysing and forecasting business performance
- Monitoring and managing ongoing business issues such as working capital, debt service, recommendations on strategic decisions etc.

**Other**
- Oversight of investment structures including: cross-border tax, corporate compliance, accounting and reporting requirements
- Review of budgets and cash management (including forex) of the various investment structures
- Funding of investment capital calls and tracking of cash distributions
- ACA fully qualified with a trong technical base of accounting, tax, and finance
- 3 years post qualified within a manufactoring or hospitality business within FP&A/ Corp Finance
- Entrepreneurial, commercially astute, and fully dedicated
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail
- Self-starter and innovative problem solver, able to work independently
- Effective, professional, and confident communicator
- Ability to speak Spanish desirable but not essential
- Experience working in industrial / commodity manufacturing desirable but not essential
