Are you an existing **Solutions Designer** looking to join our team at GXO? Or maybe you are looking to put your solutions skills to the test and take more of a lead on **Transport Solution Design?**

Here at GXO, we are currently looking for a **Transport**biased **Solutions Manager** to join our Head Office team in Northampton. We have had significant success in winning new transport contracts with the likes of Waitrose, Currys, City Plumbing, Co-op, Wilko and BT, and our significant transport operations covera range of sectors such as retail, drinks, food service, haulage and industrial.

This is a great opportunity to join a strong team who are keen to expand and further develop our capabilities in **Transport Solution** modelling, network design and operations support, as well as getting involved in developing our way of **solution design** through the use of AI and other new techniques.

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Provide thorough and experienced support in data analysis, transport solution design, proposal preparation and presentations
- Work independently on transport design projects whilst supporting multiple projects, varying in scale and complexity
- Gather and analyse information from current and potential contracts in order to create a cost effective and operationally sound solution that can be presented to the customer within time limits

**What you need to succeed at GXO**
- A strong understanding of how transport works are developed through an operational, planning or solution design role
- A desire to consistently gain further knowledge across the wide range of skills needed as a transport solution designer, such as:

- Technical skills to use tools such as Paragon and Excel and BI
- Analytical skills to identify the fundamental drivers of a transport solution
- Written and verbal communication skills to be able to explain the solutions we create to both internal and external stakeholders
- Commercial knowledge
- An interest in the technology that can be used to make transport better either to support ESG or service
