**The role**:
**FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER - IT**

As the Finance Business Partner (IT) your responsibilities include providing comprehensive and insight financial information to support and influence key business decisions. The role will include control and supervision of the end to end finance operation, financial forecasting & analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and business case delivery. Lead financial and business reporting and forecasting processes for these areas ensuring costs are accurately reported and tightly controlled.

**What you’ll do**:

- Present complex information in an accessible and meaningful way to focus and drive improvements in financial performance.
- Prepare and track Business Plans, Financial Plans (includes budgeting, planning and forecasting) and Local Targets using appropriate modelling techniques where required.
- Control and decision support activities - Identify, influence and implement opportunities for cost reduction and/or revenue improvement through insightful monitoring and analysis of financial performance.
- Control and management of project accounting activities, including insight and evaluation of project success, production of business cases which facilitates key investment decisions and robust tracking to ensure project control and delivery.
- Promote change - Driving continuous process improvements via automation and standardisation.
- Training, coaching, and supervising junior staff based on business needs
- Actively build and maintain strong relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues at all levels Across IAG Cargo, BA, Iberia and other group airlines
- Adhere to all corporate, statutory and regulatory requirements. Ensure an appropriate and robust financial control environment, from posting journals to balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide information and support where required to internal and external Auditors

**Your experience**:
**Essential experience**
- Strong understanding of finance theory and good level of practical finance experience in management accounting
- Senior stakeholder management, including presenting to board level
- People Management
- Numerate and accurate
- Strong IT skills in MS Office and preferably experience of finance systems including SAP, S4Hana, Anaplan, Thinkcell
- Commercial aptitude to external global threats and how these can impact a business or industry such as this
- Experienced in providing business case support, project tracking and delivery of investments/initiative portfolios
- Previous people manager experience

**Desirable Experience**
- To be conversational in Spanish
