Part-time Keyworker

**About Us**
We are looking for a skilled, motivated and committed practitioner to join our team at Chichester Nursery School, a large Local Authority Maintained Nursery School in the heart of Chichester, working with children from 3-4 years of age. You will be working as part of a team in our large, open plan environment and a big garden area, ensuring an exciting and stimulating learning environment for young children.

**What You Need to Succeed**
To be successful in this role you will need to: be an excellent Early Years practitioner, with a strong understanding of how children learn in a free-flow environment and have a sound knowledge of how to support and extend children’s learning through planned learning experiences, as well as “in the moment”. You will also be confident in assessing children’s progress and identifying gaps and next steps in their development.

The 24 hours a week are worked as 5 mornings a week, from 8.30am-1.00pm, which includes 1 hour supporting the children during lunchtime. The hours also include an hour and a half staff meeting on Wednesdays from 4-5.30pm.

You should be qualified to at least Level 3 in Early Years and Childcare and have a minimum of two years’ experience as a Keyworker in a childcare setting.
