We are seeking a flexible, highly motivated and experienced Job Coach to join our retail team. You will have a minimum of three years’ retail experience.
We offer vocational retail training for clients with a range of barriers to learning.
The role of the Job Coach will be to support clients with additional support needs and who are furthest away from the labour market to gain confidence and develop skills within the retail sector.
The project aims to provide clients with additional support needs the opportunity to gain qualifications and work experience in a supportive workplace where they can realise their ambitions.
**Knowledge and Experience**
Experience of retail work.
Experience of coaching/mentoring individuals.
Experience of providing training to individuals within the workplace environment.
Experience of providing support to individuals to achieve goals and ambitions.
**Skills and Attributes**
Excellent literate and numeracy skills
Ability to motivate others, work flexibly and on own initiative within the confines of the post
An ability to engage positively and supportively with individuals, their families and carers
