An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Evelina London Cleft and Paediatric Plastic Surgery Services as a Patient Pathway Coordinator. This vacancy is a permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week) Band 4 administrative role. This is a challenging and rewarding role which involves working across two busy services, where you will have the opportunity to make a direct positive impact on patient experience and the wider team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and adaptable individual who has good attention to detail. The role demands excellent prioritisation skills, problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach to ensure the smooth and efficient management of patient pathways. The post holder will need to work well as part of a team, be professional and personable at all times, have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure. They will work closely with one Service Manager and two Assistant Service Managers, and alongside a team consisting of Medical Secretaries and Patient Access Coordinators, as well as a multi-disciplinary clinical team.
The Patient Pathway Coordinator will lead on the tracking of patient pathways, ensuring patients receive treatment as soon as possible and ensure national targets are met. They will work closely with a wide range of clinical and managerial staff to provide a high standard of administrative support.

The post holder work closely with the administrative and clinical teams, ensuring patient pathways are managed correctly. The role will involve working with sensitive and confidential information and the post holder will be expected to maintain the Trust’s standards and policies at all times.
