**The Job**:
**Purpose;**
The role provides a comprehensive and proactive HR service to the Group providing our brands and key stakeholders with information, data and effective engagement strategies to support the embedding of an inclusive and high performance culture across the business, aligned to our business strategy.
To contribute to the delivery of an excellent HR service to the business and provide professional and proactive advice and support to line managers on all areas of employee relations including conduct, sickness, performance and grievances. Ensure a fair and consistent approach to all employee relations and ensure line managers are educated on such matters. Support and advise our people on well-being support, working practices and terms and conditions.
Support the delivery of diversity & inclusion (D&I) initiatives in line with the D&I action plan. / Support the delivery of well-being initiatives in line with our well-being strategy.
The HR Advisor will embed themselves in identified business areas and be perceived as an extension to the key stakeholder's team. The HR Advisor role will work very closely with the wider HR team to ensure the proactive approach is appropriate and works to deliver a high performing culture across Gattaca.
**Responsibilities;**:
- Be the first point of call for the provision of responsive and high-quality advice and coaching to all parts of Gattaca, including senior managers and to provide an effective ER service to Managers on issues that may include but not limited to; conduct, performance, well-being and sickness absence.
- Manage employee relations issues within the business streams, ensuring a fair and reasonable, and consistent approach is applied.
- Guide, coach and mentor managers to manage effectively to achieve a strong and resilient workforce, delivering departmental and corporate goals
- Provide guidance and support to managers on all HR policies, procedures and processes, ensuring that best practise approaches are followed at all times.
- Advise on sickness management cases ensuring that the procedure is used consistently across the business.
- Work with line managers to raise awareness of our well-being offers and make sure that staff are getting value from it.
- Support the HR team in delivering well-being messages and support via our service provision and well-being offering.
- Design and deliver education sessions for line managers on employee relations.
- Work with the HR team to support the improvement of D&I initiatives and improvements across HR procedures, processes and plans.
- Actively promote non-discriminatory behaviour. Challenge perceptions and behaviour and lead by example to promote equality and diversity at all levels within the team
- Assisting with project work at the request of the HR Management team.
- HR system user - intermediate level of proficiency
- Provide an excellent level of customer service
- Take a 'continual improvement' approach to work, actively working in partnership with our customers and participating in service reviews and improvements.
- Maintain a visible, professional and high profile within the Group.
- Work with key stakeholders to support their businesses with proactive tools and advice, ensuring there is a deep understanding of their goals and business needs.
- To promote use of the engagement survey in order to understand employee sentiment within their business units and to anticipate their needs and concerns, raising and proposing solutions to any issues to the wider HR leadership teams.
- Contribute to business strategy by supporting the process of prioritising and building organisational capabilities, behaviours, structures and processes.
- Manages transactional HR processes, such as payroll, benefits administration and support junior members of the team.
- Play an active role in supporting change management initiatives.
- Identify and cultivate key talent through performance measures, working very closely with the Learning and Development and Talent Acquisition teams.
- Contribute to the overall team's targets.
- Identify and deliver key metrics across the businesses that will add value to the key stakeholders and to the HR team.
- Develops other HR team members to support the effective and efficient management of the function.
- Be an ambassador for our values & behaviours.
