- Maintain a good understanding of current legislation and statutory procedures around education and safeguarding children and act as expert point of contact for MACPT in relation to these matters.
- Attend strategy meetings on behalf of the relevant education setting (if they are unable to attend) and contribute to the decision-making process with a sound rational.
- Take part in improvement activity within the MACPT e.g. case file audits and share the learning with education settings to promote good practice and support decision making processes.

To be considered for the role, you will be able to demonstrate:

- Relevant professional qualification in education (BA QTS, B.Ed, PGCE, Cert Ed), health, social work or other related field equivalent to Level 5.
- Experience of working with education settings with experience managing safeguarding.

- Up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the education system, relevant legislation, theoretical background of key issues.

This post also carries essential car user status, therefore you must be able to drive, have a driving licence and have access to a car, however for disabled applicants, reasonable adjustments will be made where required.

In return, you will have the opportunity to work within a small friendly team where your contribution will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to help shape young people’s lives.

Closing date - 23 November 2025.

Interviews will be held on 3 December 2025.
