Rethink Mental Illness are an organisation whose common purpose is to help those who are severely impacted by mental illness.

**We are hiring BANK Mental Health Recovery Workers to join our **Bristol Men’s Crisis House Service**, **Avonmouth.

**If you are looking to work more flexibly BANK work could be ideal for you - you may be retired, looking to do additional shifts around your current role or would like to work around your family commitments.**

Bristol Men’s Crisis House is a mental health recovery service. We offer supported living services and community outreach services to those affected by severe mental illness and provide recovery support to people with low to medium support needs, leaving a hospital or residential setting. We work closely with Service Users to ensure the support they receive is of the highest quality and is right for them. Where possible, we try to provide support at a time which best suits the needs of our Service Users. Rethink uses a “Recovery” model of support, encouraging people to manage and control their own recovery as much as possible.

**As a Mental Health Recovery Worker** **you will**: offer people affected by mental illness the support and help they need to regain their confidence and get involved in everyday social and workplace activities. You will be working closely with service users to achieve their own personal goals and access all the support they need on their recovery journey.

**I will work with the following people and teams**
- Service Users
- Bank Support Workers / Support Workers
- Volunteers
- Team Leaders
- Service Manager

**Essential skills and experience required for this role**:

- I am a good listener, empathetic, understanding, kind, patient and willing to learn
- I can demonstrate behaviours consistent with the values of the Charity.
