Position: Deputy Mechanical Manager

**Salary**: £58,000 per annum
Location: West London
Working Hours: Monday-Friday / 8:00am-5:00pm
Reporting Into - Engineering Manager
My client is leading maintenance provider, and they are looking for a Deputy Mechanical manager to join the team on one of their flagship sites in West London
This an excellent opportunity to join an established maintenance provider who invest both time and training into their employees.
Key requirements for this role:
MUST have proven experience and qualifications as a pressure systems AP.
MUST be confident in assessing and appointing others for competencies.
MUST have good fundamental understanding of relative compliance disciplines (PSSR, F-Gas, L8, LOLER, PUWER etc).
Duties & Responsibilities
- *Supporting all aspects of the accounts technical and compliance responsibilities.
*Ensure statutory compliance is met with all the account's services and assets (Pressure systems, L8, F-Gas, LOLER, Drainage, medical gases etc.).
*Supporting the Compliance Manager in arranging inspections, maintenance, and subsequent remedial actions in alignment with written schemes and set frequencies.
*To be the appointed responsible engineer for all mechanical aspects.
*To assess and appoint team members for conducting relative mechanical tasks and roles.
*To be appointed as Pressure Systems AP, conducting isolations and shutdowns when required.
*To be appointed as boiler/steam generator manager, overseeing operations of steam generating plant and associated equipment.
*Managing appointed 3rd party contractors onsite, supporting delivery of services (Water specialists, combustion, F-Gas etc.).
*Technical support to the operations team with issues, breakdowns, and procedures.
*To provide regular compliance reports to stakeholders.
*To ensure logbooks are always up to date and audit ready. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance.
*To attend training and actively engage with development.
**Requirements**:
*Must be mechanically qualified to a minimum of Level 3 - City & Guilds in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering or Heating & Ventilation
*L8 Trained
*AP Pressure systems
*Healthcare experience desired
