**Role Reporting to - Operations Manager - Frances McIntyre**

**Role purpose**
- Primary focus on retention of personal lines and small commercial business through the renewals, new business quotes and mid-term adjustment process meeting reasonable targets, which are reasonable and fair, as set by the Operations Manager.
- Generating new personal lines and small commercial businesses through warm leads.
- To support the rest of the sales team with personal lines and small commercial business by providing training and sharing of expertise on an ongoing basis in order to ensure the business meets overall profit targets.
- Meet business administration requirements including support on claims when required, in line with FCA regulatory requirements.

**Duties and Responsibilities of the role -**

**Personal Lines and Small Commercial Sales**
- Responsibility for maintaining personal lines and small commercial business through the renewals process and increase the growth of personal lines and small commercial sales across the business by assisting in quotations for new business and supporting the personal lines sales team.
- Adhere to all business policies and procedures and ensure compliance with FCA regulations across all business activities.
- Support the team with any Motor Insurance Database management needs by monitoring MID mailbox, actioning any incoming adjustments

**Operations**
- Support all employees of the business in all matters of personal lines and small commercial lines administration and when required.
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping of all business activities in line with business requirements, policies and procedures and FCA regulatory compliance.
- Actively encourage and engage in improvements that can made to the operations of the business as and when required
- Undertake any other activities as requested by the management team as and when required.

**Work schedule**

Monday - Friday - 8:30-5:15 (45 minute lunch break)

(Reviewing opening times ATM; Fridays will be a shorted day from August)

**Salary**

Apprenticeship wage - £5.28

(wage is reviewed through competence as training progresses)

**Benefits**

At the current site there is no allocated parking but from September the new site has private parking.

Annual leave is 20 days, plus bank holidays.

There is an in hours performance & bonus structure, which you will be added into once signed off on certain product targets.

Last working Friday of every month is dress down & the company provides breakfast.
