With our Head Office based in Staveley, Lakeland Leisure Estates Ltd is a family-owned company with over 30 years’ experience. We operate holiday and leisure parks with caravans, lodges and park homes for sale as well as running inland and coastal marinas throughout the country and a holiday park in Spain.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised marketeer to support our marketing team with content writing and social media management. Your key responsibilities will include posting updates and responding to comments and messages, editing and updating website content, generating new content, ensuring our website is kept up to date, and using website analytics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and understand the way users interact with our sites

**Main Duties**
- Create ongoing, interesting and unique content in order to increase engagement through our social media channels, in particular, Facebook and Instagram, using organic and paid for activity.
- Maintain a relevant and current understanding of social media trends and platform capabilities, in particular on Facebook and Instagram.
- Create written content and visual designs for marketing collateral and branded content to support the online sales and marketing strategy.
- Ensure that all digital and online branded material adheres to the company brand guidelines in order to create a consistent business image.
- Update company websites with new content, maximising SEO opportunities.
- Create relevant and engaging content for online editorials, blogs, features and press releases.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis and market research.
- Produce reports to demonstrate the effectiveness of individual campaigns and make informed suggestions to improve campaign performance.
- Work with individual park and marina managers to identify marketing opportunities, understand customer demographics and quantify campaign feedback.
- Attend regular site visits with regional teams to discuss upcoming projects, events and meetings which will require marketing support.
- Liaise with external suppliers.
- A basic knowledge and interest in videography and photography, alongside an accompanying editing software would be beneficial.
**Qualifications**

GCSE A* - C, or equivalent, in Maths and English

**Required or Desired Skills and Attributes**
- A good work ethic and a self-starter.
- Strong communication, organisation and planning skills.
- Impeccable English for writing editorials and proof reading.
- Marketing experience or evidence of gaining a social media following on non-personal accounts (desired).
- Use of some adobe products e.g. Photoshop (desired).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
