**Your new role**:
Nigel Wright are delighted to be supporting our fantastic client in Northallerton, North Yorkshire in their search for a Credit Controller. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will take responsibility for the credit control and accounts receivablefunctions.
**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Debt collection across all company divisions.
- Accountable for review of planned despatches to authorise for release.
- New customer account processing.
- Effective communication both internally and externally regarding customer account queries.
- Dealing effectively with external agencies - e.g. credit insurers, administrators.
- Report challenging accounts to line management.
- Review of sales invoices.
- Raising credit notes and miscellaneous invoices.
- On-line invoice submission.
- Cash posting and daily banking.
- Month end cut off routines.
- Previous credit control experience.
- Knowledge and experience of working with financial systems.
- High level of numeracy and keyboard skills.
- Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook proficient.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage workload effectively, prioritising and organisational skills.
- Pleasant and confident telephone manner.
- Awareness of the financial best interests of the company.
