Salesperson

NYTimber, part of National Timber Group are seeking to recruit a Salesperson to join the team based at Northallerton, Standard House, Northallerton Business Park, Thurston Road, DL6 2NA.

**Duties will include**:

- Serving trade, trade cash and public at trade counter efficiently and courteously
- Processing website orders/Cash handling
- Following up all quotations raised within a 48 hour period
- Establishing when materials are required and ensuring that all quotations issued are followed up and converted or marked as ‘lost’ on Bistrack
- Processing customer orders on Bistrack and liaising with Operations Manager regarding stock availability and deliveries
- Expanding website offer through market research and seasonal requirements.
- Working pro-actively within the customer service team
- Escalating customer service issues to Customer Service Manager and ensuring resolution
- Liaising with company management to support and implement growth strategies
- Ensuring best service levels for all Company customers through all locations
- Controlling and maintaining your allocated customer accounts
- Increasing the number of trading customer accounts and ensuring that this business grows
- Ensuring that all customers trade within their agreed credit terms and resolving queries in order to ensure prompt payment
- Daily liaison with Customer Service Manager to advise of all and any customer complaints
- Participating in external/internal staff meetings as required

Hours, Pay and Benefits:

- This is a full time role working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5.00pm
