**About us**
To provide a quality, efficient and effective admin support for the compliance Service. The role is responsible for the administration, support and use of the Corporate Asset Management Database to ensure the integrity of the data relating to compliance and to analyse data as may be required in the development of investment plans and option appraisals

**About the role** Pay Details**: Grade 5, Pay Scale 8-12 £20,852 - £22,571 pro rata

**Hours of Work** / Working Pattern: Monday to Friday.

**Term time** 19 hrs/week (52 weeks)

**Main Place of Work**: The Alps Depot and any other location around The vale as necessary

**Description**:

- To accurately input data and documentation relating to compliance and other relevant information in to the Corporate Asset Management Database (IPF) and ensure data is appropriately incorporated in to the database.
- To accurately input and maintain annual servicing data, and details relating to the compliance register.
- Receive telephone calls from Schools and Public Building clients and other service users requesting compliance improvement services and action these requests as appropriate.
- Administer data associated with the allocation of work to work team, including distribution and monitoring of allocated work and performance monitoring.
- Creating, inputting and monitoring data on spreadsheets, databases and specialist packages as required.
- Ensure all completed works are registered on the Council’s Asset Management Database (IPF).
- Use the database to produce all reports and data analysis required by the Compliance Manager.
- Install and test new versions and modules of the database.Provide admin support role for other elements of the Compliance service including Schools, Public Buildings and other parts of the service
- Maintain data standards including adherence to the Data Protection Act
- Provide an active role in improving the Corporate Compliance Service by implementing change in guidelines, procedures, process and systems to deliver an excellent service to our customers.
- To undertake general office duties as and when required.

**About you**
You will need:

- Experience of administrative work and accurate data input
- Experience of maintaining and working with complex data management systems
- Experience of a wide range of software packages needed to deliver financial services
- Good knowledge of data systems and how they operate.
- Good computer Literacy with proven ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of programmes
- Good verbal communication skills and able to communicate effectively in writing
- Excellent people skills
- Able to work to deadlines
- Confident and independent with excellent problem solving qualities.
- Self-motivated and highly flexible with an ability to adapt and promote change.
- The ability to respond positively to change in the working environment and deal effectively with work pressures when they arise.
- Demonstrate a conscientious and dedicated attitude and deal calmly with difficult situations
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- 3 A levels minimum grade ‘C’ with Maths and English essential.
- Enthusiastic and can demonstrate initiative
- Capable of forward planning
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Positive, self-motivated
- Commitment to customer care
- Able to work to exacting deadlines
- Good Team Player
- Good telephone manner
