We are seeking a mature and experienced Hotel General Assistant to join our team at the Best Western Glasgow Hotel. This role primarily involves working at the reception desk and assisting in the bar area, with shift coverage from 7 AM to 3 PM, 3 PM to 11 PM, and 11 PM to 7 AM.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
- Efficiently manage check-ins and check-outs
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain a welcoming and organised reception area
- Assist with various administrative tasks as needed
- Monitor and maintain hotel security, particularly during night shifts
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Process payments and manage reservations
- Make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Address and resolve guest complaints professionally
- Prepare and distribute daily reports and logs
- Assist in the hotel bar and restaurant when needed

**Requirements**:

- A mature individual with a minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel reception
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work back shifts and night shifts
- Good judgment and decision-making skills
- Availability for all shifts
