The ONE Group are supporting them in recruiting an experienced **NPI Engineer** with a strong electro-mechanical background.

With your robust background in DFMA, you will be involved in the whole lifecycle of product development from concept and prototype stages, through to production and support. This will focus on SMT through to the final assembly and shipping. This will involveworking alongside contract manufacturers to introduce new products and processes.

**Your Role**:

- Manage the end-to-end NPI process, from project concept though to production ramp
- Develop electro-mechanical production processes such as SMT and electro-mechanical assembly
- Some travel will be involved, so a full, clean driving licence and your own car will be required (travel expenses paid)

**What we need from you**:

- UK based and able to gain security clearance
- Six Sigma
- Statistical Process Control
- DFM
- Experience in an NPI / Manufacturing / Production / Process Engineering role, with proven electro-mechanical product manufacturing experience
- Sound experience of the end-to-end NPI process, from project concept though to production ramp
- Good understanding of electro-mechanical production processes such as SMT & electro-mechanical assembly, along with experience of working with electronics contract manufacturers and low-cost manufacturing techniques
- Experience in data analysis of high-volume product assembly and test yields
- Planning and co-ordination of NPI deliverable tasks to align with wider Project schedule
- Basic knowledge of Injection Moulding process and or aluminium casting processes
- Experience of working with formal PLM systems (Oracle Agile)
