A new role for a Head of Data Engineering with an international media company based in London.

**THE COMPANY**:
This role is with a creative media company who are working with some of the UK's biggest brands. They are using next-gen technology and looking for a new Head of Data Engineer to support their Head of Data in managing & developing the modern Engineeringfunction and team.

**THE ROLE**:

- Rearchitecting their AWS cloud platform using Snowflake.
- Working with senior business stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate technical projects across the business.
- Line management of 8-10 Data Engineers.
- Implementing a new streaming platform using Spark & Kafka.
- Leading and guiding junior team members and implementing best practices.
- Getting hand on, coding in Python from time to time.

**YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- A background in Data Engineering.
- Strong Python programming experience.
- Commercial cloud experience using AWS.
- Knowledge of Snowflake is a bonus.
- Experience using next - gen, streaming technologies i.e., Spark, Kafka.
- Leadership/Mentoring/Management experience required.
