**Quality and CI Leader - Job Summary**:
We’re supporting our client, a leading global equipment manufacturer based in Oxford, who are looking for a Quality and CI Leader to join their expanding team. The successful Quality and CI Leader will have knowledge of machining, pressing, fabrication, assembly and test.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take responsibility for aspects of Health and Safety over which they have control;
- Adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety requirements (defined in the H&S Policy, risk assessments etc.);
- Take reasonable care for their own Health and Safety;
- To promote and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
- Establish, maintain, analyse and communicate the key manufacturing / product quality metrics.
- Identify areas for improvement then develop and implement improvement strategies.
- Provide data, analyse and understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Continually developing and implementing processes across the business.
- Working with suppliers to improve supplier performance.
- Developing the metrics with the Supply Chain Manager.
- Professionally dealing with Customer issues.
- Regularly visiting Customers to understand issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Promoting the CI culture, developing tools, implementation and training.
- Working with the Manufacturing Engineer and Team Leaders to develop a lean culture.
- Any other work as requested by the Management Accountant or Finance and Administration Manager - EMEAA
- Work alongside all member of the Finance and Administration Department to pull together a strong team ethos
- Systematic and logical approach to problem solving.
- Facilitate and support problem solving events.
- Support the business with 8D investigations.

**About You**:

- Degree qualified in relevant engineering or manufacturing discipline or HNC/HND or minimum of 5 years’ experience in a CI environment.
- Manufacturing experience within a medium / high volume environment from raw material to finished product.
- Quality management systems i.e. ISO 9001 etc.
- Demonstrable experience of CI techniques and implementation of Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen, 5S, Stand Work, Problem Solving etc.).
- Broad process knowledge including machining, pressing, fabrication, assembly and test.
- Experience of manufacturing systems, including routings, BOM’s, concessions and change requests.
