**Management Accountant - Stoke on Trent**

We are a rapidly expanding manufacturing company based in Stoke-on Trent who are seeking a qualified accountant to strengthen our finance team. Reporting to the Chief Accountant you will be responsible for key financial processes, and will also be trainedup to perform all the high-level accountancy routines within our ERP system. This role requires an ambitious and talented finance professional who will be rapidly trained across all our accounting disciplines, with opportunities of progression in the nearto mid-term.

**This role will focus on**:

- Preparation and review of the Monthly Management accounts.
- Preparation of journals and reconciliations and helping to ensure all tasks within the department are performed consistently and accurately on a timely basis.
- Providing timely and insightful reporting and management information as required.
- Work closely to support the Chief Accountant and be able to cover in his absence.
- Provide any ad hoc analysis or reporting required
- Working with other colleagues across all of the business

**You must be able to demonstrate**:

- That you are newly qualified ACCA or ACA
- Self-motivated and ambitious
- Have at least a working knowledge of Accounting/ERP systems and ideally some SQL knowledge
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Well-developed Excel and Word skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle and prioritise multiple tasks and meet all deadlines,
- Ability to work under pressure
