**Management Accountant**

**Permanent - Monday to Friday - Salary up to £40,000 DOE**

Management Accountant to join our Head Office team in support of our Panelco brand.

**Permanent **position working **Monday to Friday**
- 37.5 hours per week
- Bank holidays off and extended Christmas break

**The** Management Accountant**Role**:

- Preparation of month end management accounts including analysis of variances to budget and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Preparation of reports for Board members.
- Preparation of annual budgets and development of robust forecasts for profit and loss, balance sheets and cashflow.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, year end process and liaison with auditors.
- Tight management of working capital and processing of payments.
- Suggest and implement improvements to systems, processes and reporting.
- Calculation and management of supplier and customer rebate schemes.
- Preparation of returns for HMRC including VAT and reconciling PVA Statements to records.

**Management Accountant Requirements**:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 3 years post qualification experience or qualified by experience in logistics, distribution or wholesale sectors.
- Exceptional IT skills including advanced Excel.
- High levels of attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to plan and organise time to meet deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of company tax requirements.
