**Overview**
Crowe UK is a leading accountancy firm offering audit, tax, advisory and risk services, with offices across the UK, and part of a network of over 200 firms globally.
We are looking for a Credit Control Assistant to join our National Finance Team based in our Midlands office.
This apprenticeship combines work-based learning and study, to gain a Credit Controller and Collector qualification from The Chartered Institute of Credit Management (CICM) with no university fees to pay.
**What to expect**
Crowe is look for a dynamic school leaver or graduate to join our Midlands based finance team. Our National Finance Team is a close-knit department providing support to a growing business and we’re currently looking for the right individual to join us.
Our credit control team managers debt collection for the firm and interacts regularly with both internal stakeholders and also external clients. The role is varied and will keep the right person busy and engaged, whilst providing a launch for your future career.
We are looking for someone who wants to develop themselves within the work place and personally, dealing with contact with clients, and learning an entire spectrum of skills that will be of benefit to you in any finance environment. You will be a key member of the team from day one and will get involved with a variety of tasks, developing your strengths to add to our growing team.
**Your Study Route**
During your apprenticeship you will work towards the Credit Controller and Collector Apprenticeship Level 2 qualification. All tuition costs, and study leave are provided by Crowe. An apprentice’s journey doesn’t end when the initial apprenticeship has finished. This is potentially just the first step to becoming a credit control professional. The next steps could be to progress onto an Advanced Credit Controller and Debt Collection Specialist Level 3 apprenticeship.
By joining us, we will provide the foundations for your development, and the qualifications and tools, you need to succeed in your career.
You will be supported throughout your studies by our People Development team at Crowe, and a talent coach from your study provider.
Whatever your ambitions, your professional development will continue well beyond your trainee years.
- Minimum 5 GCSE passes including grade 4/C or above in Maths and English; A-Level/GNVQ or equivalent qualifications.
- Strong technology skills.
- Good organisational skills.
- The ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
- An inquisitive mind.
- Enthusiastic, friendly and be willing to work in a team environment.
- A logical and methodical approach to problem solving.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- A self-starter.
Throughout your training programme, you will also be required to attend off-site external training.
