Your new role
National Highways currently have an exciting opportunity for a Property Systems & Services Team Executive to join the Property and Compensation (P&C) team within the Major Projcts (MP) directorate. This role is to support the Property Systems & ServicesTeam Leader in providing a flexible business support function to assist the delivery of project and work streams to time, quality, and budget.
Within this role you will support the Property Systems & Services Team Leader in providing accurate and timely performance reporting against business targets, challenging when appropriate, to enable effective decision making. Further to this you will beresponsible for managing the Property Systems & Services help desk, and specific pieces of work to meeting objectives, ensuring relevant policies and procedures are followed.
What you’ll be leading on
- Quality assure, enter and maintain information on systems and files to ensure that information is up to date, accurate, in the right place and easily accessible.
- Collate and compose information and prepare standard documents accurately and efficiently, to support the delivery of service standards to internal and external customers.
- Assist with management of supplier accounts and statements and process returns according to guidance and policy.
- Run a helpdesk and secretariat function acting as first point of contact for members of division and customers, both internal and external, to answer standard enquiries and to contribute to the development of relationships.
- Provide proactive business support, prepare data and undertake standard analysis, drawing data from a variety of sources to bring together reports to support management decision making.
- Manage and organise meetings and travel arrangements, providing co-ordination support to staff where required, to undertake ad hoc administrative duties, ensuring accurate, timely delivery, following relevant policies and procedures, to ensure operationalneeds are met.
To be successful you’ll need
- Previous use of property systems or case management systems or of providing technical administrative support.
- To demonstrate ability to deliver a strong and efficient customer claims service.
- Experience of working with service suppliers and operational teams to engender an open, collaborative approach to achieve common aims and outcomes in the delivery of required services.
- Experience of managing supplier accounts and complex financial records, governance, and quality assurance practices.
- Demonstrate proficiency in a range of office software products to enable production / maintenance of a range of documents and spreadsheets.
