**OResponsibilities**:

- You must be experienced in all types of Fabrication and Welding to a high standard be able to Supervise, oversee, and direct the daily activities in the workshop to ensure projects are completed safely, and on time, and to high Quality standards.
- Provide hands-on assistance with fabrication and assembly of structural components and sub-assemblies.
- Oversee the goods in process to ensure traceability of all materials and consumables comply with BS EN 1090 requirements. All materials taken from stock must be documented on relevant paperwork for costing and traceability.
- Checking that material issued matches the requirements of the drawings and work order information sheets.
- Checking all welding consumables issued are correct against the WPS and the drawings.
- Ensure compliance with procedures in support of Quality and Environmental Management Systems
- Develop and motivate staff to ensure they achieve maximum performance, Complete tool box talks where required.
- Demonstrating a high standard of Health and Safety and housekeeping, ensure all near misses, incidents are reported, and adequately investigated and suitable actions are put in place and any immediate learning is communicated.**About You**:

- Recognised welding/fabrication apprenticeship.
- Minimum 5 years Supervisory experience in an industrial metal fabricating environment.
- Have experience of reading engineering/technical drawings and fabricating to BS EN 1090 specification.
- Be self-motivated with a good work ethic and attention to detail is essential.
- Experience in TIG/MAG and MMA to BS EN 9606-1
- Experience supervising a workshop team within the industry.
- Have good written and spoken English.
- Have the right to work in the UK if not already a UK resident.
- A driving License would be advantageous.
- Understand Health & Safety within the workplace.
- Ability to work overtime / longer hours when required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £45,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
